A leading assessment organization in Newcastle upon Tyne is seeking a Freelance End Point Assessor to evaluate candidates at the conclusion of their apprenticeships. The role requires assessing in Maintenance and Operations Engineering by performing Knowledge Assessments, Practical Observations, and Technical Interviews. Candidates must hold relevant assessing qualifications and have practical industry experience. This position provides full training on internal quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Hold a L3 assessing qualification.
• L4 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3 years post qualification experience.
• Have relevant and current CPD with the plant maintenance industry.

The Role

The Freelance End Point Assessor role involves assessing candidates in the final stages of their apprenticeship. For Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician, these elements consist of a Knowledge Assessment, Practical Observation and a Technical Interview.
