Job summary

A leading assessment provider in the UK is seeking a Freelance End Point Assessor to evaluate candidates completing their apprenticeships in Maintenance and Operations Engineering. The role involves conducting assessments through knowledge checks, practical observations, and interviews. Required qualifications include a Level 3 assessing qualification and relevant engineering background with at least 3 years of experience. Training will be provided on internal processes.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 assessing qualification.
• Have a Level 4 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Possess 3 years of post-qualification experience.
• Maintain relevant and current CPD in the plant maintenance industry.

Responsibilities

• Assess candidates in the final stages of their apprenticeship.
• Conduct Knowledge Assessments, Practical Observations, and Technical Interviews.
• Receive training on internal quality assurance processes.

The Role

The Freelance End Point Assessor role involves assessing candidates in the final stages of their apprenticeship. For Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician, these elements consist of a Knowledge Assessment, Practical Observation and a Technical Interview.

NOCN will provide full training on our internal quality assurance processes and how to conduct these.
