BBC Studios' Scam Interceptors in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Assistant Producer to join our team on a freelance basis. You will be proactive, highly organized, with strong research skills and editorial judgement, focusing on contributor casting and welfare.

You will help develop investigations, conduct background research, fact-check, and assist the team in delivering impactful stories that expose scams and protect the public. A willingness to appear on camera is key.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Producer on factual, consumer or current affairs programming.
• Strong research and investigative skills.
• Excellent contributor management and communication skills.
• Good editorial judgement and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a quick turnaround production environment.
