Job summary

Interocean is seeking an experienced FRC Coxswain to oversee safe operation of the Fast Rescue Craft, including launching, recovering and maneuvering in support of emergency response and routine maritime tasks.

The role requires STCW FRB, Basic Safety Training, and ENG1, along with strong seamanship, calmness under pressure, and teamwork to maintain safety and readiness during operations. You will coordinate with crew and ensure compliance with company procedures.

Qualifications

• STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats (FRB).
• STCW Basic Safety Training.
• Valid ENG1 Seafarer Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manoeuvre the FRC safely in varying sea and weather conditions.
• Act as Coxswain during operations.
• Conduct pre-use checks, routine inspections, and basic maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with STCW, safety procedures, and operational guidelines.
• Ensure all crew adhere to safety requirements while onboard.
• Maintain high standards of boat-handling and seamanship.

Role Summary

The FRC Coxswain is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Fast Rescue Craft (FRC). The role includes launching, recovering, and manoeuvring the craft to support emergency response, rescue operations, and routine maritime activities while ensuring compliance with maritime safety regulations and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manoeuvre the Fast Rescue Craft safely in various sea and weather conditions




• Act as Coxswain during operations

Experience
