Role overview

Reporting into one of our Home Fraud Team Leaders, you’ll tackle a mix of suspected fraudulent claims across contents and buildings insurance. You’ll work closely with Operational Teams, Suppliers and wider Fraud Teams to identify and respond to fraudulent claims. Your goal is to support Hastings Direct in delivering a market leading fraud defence for Household/Home Claims.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed reviews of newly identified claims that are of concern and provide guidance to the wider Claims teams where appropriate
  • Conduct investigations on claims where there is suspicion of fraud
  • Perform desktop investigations, formal interviews, liaise with suppliers and use intelligence solutions systems
  • Support the design of relevant fraud processes
  • Act as a technical referral point for Home Claims Handlers to support fraud identification
  • Address a mix of suspected fraudulent claims across contents and buildings
Essential skills/experience
  • Technical fraud background within insurance or strong experience of household/home/property claims
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end claims journey
  • Ability to make decisions and challenge the status quo with clear communication to a varied audience
