Payroll Fraud Analyst

Salary : Up to £45,000

Location : UK (Home based)

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Fraud Analyst to join a high performing fraud function. Applicants must have experience of identifying payroll fraud. The role would suit candidates with strong analytical skills who have experience undertaking payroll fraud analysis.

The role
  • Data analysis : Examining payroll data to find suspicious patterns, such as duplicate payments, incorrect employee setups, or other discrepancies.
  • System monitoring : Using analytical tools to monitor payroll systems for potential fraud, often involving flagging unusual activity.
  • Fraud prevention : Designing and implementing strategies, rules, and controls to prevent future fraudulent activities from occurring.
  • Investigation : Conducting investigations into suspected cases of payroll fraud to confirm financial losses.
  • Reporting : Creating reports and presenting findings to management and making recommendations for policy changes or system improvements.
