Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration and a professional requirement for revalidation.
• Experience in an acute clinical environment, preferably NHS.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development (CPD).
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team and NHS settings.
• Understanding of NHS policy, standards and patient safety.
• Ability to work in distressing clinical situations with empathy and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate patient care for defined caseload.
• Provide care in line with NMC standards and professional guidance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure safety of medicines.
• Supervise junior staff and learners; contribute to MDT decisions.
• Demonstrate alignment with Trust values and patient-centred care.
• Support efficient ward operations and use of resources.
