Job summary

A leading telecom company in Edinburgh is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to oversee all financial planning and analysis activities. You will lead budgeting cycles, maintain forecasts, and provide insights for strategic decisions to support growth. The ideal candidate has considerable FP&A experience in a capital-intensive environment, excellent financial modelling skills, and is a qualified accountant. The role offers a salary of £60,000 - £65,000 and a hybrid working model with benefits including holidays and healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Considerable FP&A experience in telecoms or another capital-intensive industry.
  • Extensive experience in financial modelling and analytics.
  • Experience in presenting complex financial insights to senior executives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle.
  • Maintain rolling forecasts and key financial metrics.
  • Provide scenario planning to inform strategic decisions.
  • Deliver revenue variance analysis and assess pricing impacts.
  • Track core telco KPIs like ARPU and customer growth.
  • Produce and present financial reports and business cases.

Skills

Financial modelling and analytical capability

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA)
