Join us as an FP&A Manager (12 month fixed term contract)

Want to do work that really matters? At Checkatrade, we're building the UK's go to home improvement marketplace. Every day, we help millions of homeowners find the right tradesperson for the job, fast, fair, and without the faff.

As our next FP&A Manager, you'll help steer the business through a period of big growth and change. This 12 month fixed term role is all about supporting day to day forecasting and planning while we roll out new systems and tools. You'll work closely with our Head of FP&A and permanent team, giving them the space to focus on transformation while you keep the engine running.

Responsibilities

• Leading planning and forecasting. You'll run the cycles that help the business make smarter decisions, from next month's spend to five year strategy.
• Improving how we plan and report. You'll spot ways to make budgeting, planning and reporting work better, and drive those changes from idea to impact.
• Working across teams. You'll collaborate with teams across the business to strengthen our tools, systems and ways of working.
• Making the numbers make sense. You'll bring clarity to financial reporting, so teams feel confident in the data and ready to act on it.

Qualifications

• Finance experience in a fast moving business. You've worked across accounting, reporting and financial planning, and know how to keep pace with change.
• Commercial smarts and sharp analysis. You're great with numbers, but even better at turning them into clear, actionable insight.
• A collaborative mindset. You're hands on, easy to work with, and confident partnering with senior stakeholders.
• A natural self starter. You spot opportunities, solve problems and keep things moving, without waiting to be asked.

• 2nd stage interview will be a case study with our FP&A Manager, Director of Corporate Finance and Head of FP&A.
