SF Partners is supporting a private equity investment group to appoint an FP&A Manager in Oxford. The role offers hybrid working with two days in the Oxford office and occasional UK travel, overseeing FP&A across the investment group and two portfolio businesses.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial modelling while delivering commercial analysis on performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• PE-backed/private equity exposure or scale-up experience preferred (or similar mid-market).
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills are essential.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver board-level reporting.
• Hybrid role with two days per week in Oxford; UK travel as needed.

FP&A Manager

Oxford / Hybrid - 2 days per week in Oxford
£80,000 + 10% bonus + benefits

SF Partners are exclusively supporting a private equity investment group with the appointment of an FP&A Manager.

This is a varied opportunity, providing FP&A support across the investment group and two of its portfolio businesses. You will gain exposure to three different organisations, working closely with senior finance stakeholders across each.

Reporting into a senior finance leader, responsibilities will include:

• Managing budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting cycles
• Producing management and board-level reporting
• Maintaining and developing financial models
• Providing commercial analysis around performance and profitability
• Working closely with CFO and FD-level stakeholders
• Improving and standardising FP&A processes and reporting
• Supporting wider commercial projects and analysis

We are looking for a strong FP&A professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment. You will need excellent Excel and modelling skills, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to manage competing priorities across different stakeholders.

Experience within a PE-backed, privately owned, scale-up or mid-market business would be particularly relevant. This could also suit an ambitious Senior FP&A Analyst who is already operating with significant autonomy and is ready to step into a Manager role.

The breadth of exposure makes this opportunity particularly interesting. You will work across three businesses, gain direct exposure to senior finance leaders and have the opportunity to influence how FP&A develops across the wider group.

The role will require two days per week in Oxford, alongside occasional UK travel.
