Ki, a data-driven underwriting business, invites you to join the FP&A function to drive financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting. You will own planning workstreams and partner with Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial, Capital Modelling and Technology to support informed decision-making and long-term financial direction.

We're an algorithmic underwriting business transforming the insurance market through technology, data, and innovation. In this role, you'll sit within our FP&A function and play a central role in driving financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, and capital insight across Ki. You'll own key planning and reporting workstreams, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, Underwriting, Actuarial, Capital Modelling, Outwards Reinsurance, and Technology to support informed decision-making. This position combines technical financial expertise with commercial insight, helping us understand performance, evaluate growth opportunities, and improve capital efficiency. Working closely with senior stakeholders, including Executive Committee members, you'll contribute directly to shaping our strategic decisions and our long-term financial direction.
Professional accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent), actuarial qualification, or equivalent analytical background gained through financial due diligence, transaction services, strategy consulting or a related discipline. Deep understanding of insurance finance, financial planning, forecasting and performance management. Solid analytical capability with proficiency in financial modelling and Excel skills and the ability to evaluate, discuss and explain complex financial outputs. Commercially focused with a keen interest in how businesses generate value, allocate capital and achieve strategic objectives. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to tailor messages for a range of audiences, including Executive Committee members and non-finance stakeholders. Experience creating dashboards and visual insights using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar analytics platforms. Interest in leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve decision‑making, efficiency and financial processes. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, navigating changing priorities and contributing to the development of evolving processes and responsibilities. Exposure to planning, reporting or data tools such as Anaplan, Tableau or SQL would be advantageous.
