Job summary

Hitachi Rail is seeking a senior FP&A governance professional to strengthen planning, reporting, and controls across the Group. The role requires independent delivery in a fast-moving environment, ownership of governance workstreams, and driving standardization through digitalization initiatives.

You will partner with regional and local teams, deliver clear FP&A insights, and enable senior decision-making through robust data and processes. Hybrid or home working is possible.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• We expect strong governance and FP&A process knowledge.
• Experience in multinational finance environments.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting and governance experience.
• Project management or change management training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee group planning, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
• Own FP&A process maps, RACI matrices, and controls.
• Lead or coordinate transformation and digitalization initiatives.
• Develop communications and training materials for stakeholders.
• Manage project plans, risks, milestones, and actions.
• Support integration and harmonization post-acquisition.
