IN2 Consult is partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst for its UK finance team in Slough. This hands-on role offers exposure across planning, provisioning and group reporting within a regulated financial services business.

The role reports to the FP&A Manager and requires part-qualified status (CIMA/ACCA), 3+ years’ experience, and strong Excel and reporting skills. Hybrid working with three days in Slough.

Competenze

• Part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) ideally progress towards qualification.
• 3+ years' experience in financial or business analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with reporting tools.

Mansioni

• Produce monthly management reporting pack for local leadership.
• Prepare detailed variance analysis of actual vs budget/forecast.
• Maintain and develop forecasting and simulation models for provisioning and budgeting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end submissions to Head Office via group system.
• Reconcile local data with Head Office data each month.
• Maintain reports and databases underpinning group and management reporting.
• Collaborate with FP&A Manager as main contact for Head Office and auditors.
• Understand business by working with all departments.

FP&A Analyst | Slough (Hybrid) | Permanent | Up to £45,000 + Bonus

IN2 Consult is partnering with a well-established business to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst for its UK finance team in Slough. This is a hands-on role for an analytical part-qualified accountant who wants broad exposure across planning, provisioning and group reporting within a regulated financial services business.

The role

Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will support the UK leasing business with controlling, risk provisioning, budgeting and reporting. You will be a key link between the local business, Head Office and the external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Produce the monthly management reporting pack for the local leadership team
• Prepare detailed variance analysis of actual performance against budget and forecast
• Maintain and develop the forecasting and simulation models used for risk provisioning, annual budgets and ad-hoc plans
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end submissions to Head Office through the group consolidation system
• Reconcile local operational and accounting data against Head Office data each month
• Maintain the reports and databases that underpin group and management reporting
• Work with the FP&A Manager as the main contact for Head Office and external auditors on budgets, forecasts, variances, accruals and provisions
• Build a detailed understanding of the business by working closely with all departments
• Provide cover for the Accounting, Pricing and Treasury teams during peak periods
• Support ad-hoc investigations and projects for the Senior Management Team

About you

• Degree educated and studying CIMA or ACCA (ideally part qualified)
• 3+ years' experience in financial or business analysis
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with reporting tools
• Confident with ROI, variance analysis and cost/benefit analysis
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines with a curious, problem-solving approach
• Happy to share ideas and drive improvements to processes
