A well-established and growing organisation in Northern Ireland is seeking a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join its dynamic finance team. This is a newly created position and a fantastic opportunity to work within a progressive business that plays a key role in delivering essential services across the region.

As the FP&A Analyst, you’ll provide financial planning and analytical support to senior management, helping shape strategic decisions and drive business performance. You will take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling, working closely with operational teams to deliver meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial models, forecasts, and budgets
  • Deliver insightful analysis on performance, variances, and key business drivers
  • Support monthly management reporting and Board presentations
  • Partner with business units to support strategic planning and investment decisions
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting
  • Assist with long-term planning and scenario modelling
About You
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with post-qualification experience
  • Proven FP&A or management accounting experience, ideally within a commercial environment
  • Strong analytical, Excel, and financial modelling skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to tight deadlines
