Job summary

A fast growing Financial Services business in South Manchester is seeking an FP&A Analyst to enhance business performance through critical reporting and analysis. You will report directly to the CFO and deliver insights using your analytical skills and experience with data warehousing tools. Candidates should have an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and experience in high-growth financial environments. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to business decisions.

Qualifications

  • You must be a qualified or close to being qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • FP&A experience at a high growth business with Private Equity backing is ideal.
  • Experience in Transaction Services or M&A is also relevant.

Job description

This is a Financial Planning and Analysis job for a fast growing Financial Services business with Private Equity backing in South Manchester.

You will report into a Chief Financial Officer with significant experience of Private Equity, in particular experience of delivering successful financial events for the ownership groups of previous businesses.

The business has an established finance team, but is looking for an FP&A Analyst to deliver critical information and ad hoc reports outside of the usual monthly reporting to deliver data to decision makers, ultimately to drive business performance.

You will report to the CFO delivering critical reports and information on a monthly basis, using your analytical capabilities to understand the business's performance and delivering the information you unlock to senior stakeholders, the CFO and CEO, as well as the various senior managers and directors who make up the decision makers in this business.

You will be a qualified or close to being qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), and you will have FP&A experience ideally at a high growth business with Private Equity backing, or within practice as part of a Transaction Services or M&A team focused on delivering mandates for high growth businesses and looking for a first move into industry.
