Job description

We are looking to appoint an experienced FP&A Analyst responsible for the development, production and review of management reports which provide relevant and timely information on the financial performance of the Brand. This includes the production and review of monthly management accounts, profit & loss and balance sheets. This role reports directly to FP&A Commercial Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Production of weekly and monthly reports & management reports, adhering to strict deadlines.
  • Timely posting of accounting transactions to ensure a smooth and accurate monthly close.
  • Develop new reports to support the growth and analysis of the business.
  • Build and maintain professional business relationships with all key stakeholders.
  • Analyse sell-in vs. sell-out data including SKU, Range, Quantity, Period sales.
  • Evaluation of Key Performance Indicators and store productivity.
  • Support Retail Sales teams to manage costs within budget with greater focus on Store Staff charges.
  • Transform retailer sell out reports to be loaded to company database weekly to facilitate efficient sales analysis by store and store group.
  • Support FP&A Commercial Manager with the annual budget process and reporting, with continual support on the ongoing reforecasting etc.
  • Support companywide initiatives to enhance our ERP Systems, Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Accuracy.
  • Explain financial information to Non-Finance Staff and support them with finance-based queries.
  • Collaborate, communicate and work with other team members of the Finance Department to ensure departmental KPIs are achieved and offer/provide help/support as required.
  • Collaborate with other functions within the company to ensure common goals are achieved.
  • Keep up to date with financial regulations, the fragrance/beauty industry and the competitors.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and duties as required by sales/commercial teams.
  • Respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality and/or diplomacy.
  • Process NSV order sheets to be uploaded to D365 within agreed timelines.

  • Outstanding knowledge of Excel.
  • Passionate and proficient in Information Technology.
  • Statistics, Data Analysis, Reporting, Strategic Planning.
  • Business Model Analysis.

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • CIMA or ACCA newly qualified/part qualified.

  • A qualification in either economics, statistics, finance, internal cont.

This role is London Office based (EC1) at least three days per week with flexibility to work from home - one - two days per week.
