This high-profile role includes:

Responsibilities
  • Business partner various commercial stakeholders, involved in key decisions across the commercial finance arena.
  • Provide insight on business performance with an appropriate level of support and challenge to senior stakeholders to drive optimisation of the cost base.
  • Bring to life efficiency KPIs and cost to serve for the commercial teams team to better understand operational performance.
  • Prepare and analyse consolidated results for board reporting and budget packs,
  • Produce financial models and be responsible for tracking the performance of all M&A activities, contributing to strategic decision making
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to manage headcount, staff costs and divisional spend, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
  • Use your in-depth Excel skills to maximise the quality and depth of analysis delivered.
Candidate profile
  • Exceptional Excel modelling skills to build robust and scalable spreadsheets, making data work for you (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX, MATCH)
  • Highly ambitious, driven and ‘on the up’ commercially orientated finance professional who wants to take the next step in their career
  • Proven experience of successfully partnering non-finance stakeholders
  • Easily operates at pace and able to effect positive change within a fast moving and entrepreneurial environment
  • Medium to large sized business background
