Job summary

Edwards & Pearce are recruiting for an interim Accountant for a 12-month FTC to cover maternity leave in the West Hull area. The role requires FP&A experience, management and commercial accounting, plus strong analytical and investigative skills.

Hybrid working is available and visa sponsorship is not offered. Candidates should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or near-qualified, with excellent communication across finance and non-finance colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A, commercial or management accounts with strong analytical and investigative skills.
• Experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering, management or commercial accounting is beneficial.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA; near-qualifications also welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide maternity cover for 12 months with accurate financial information for business decisions.
• Liaise across finance and non-finance colleagues to support reporting.
• Deliver robust financial planning, analysis and commercial accounting output.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
