Overview

Are you a commercially focused, analytical accountant looking for a high-impact role in a fast-growing business? We're partnering with a dynamic organisation to recruit an FP&A accountant — a newly created position offering genuine visibility, influence and career progression. This role will suit a qualified accountant with strong FP&A or commercial finance experience who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, turning financial data into actionable insight and driving strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Build, refine and maintain financial models to support pricing, tenders and scenario planning
  • Deliver commercial insight to senior stakeholders — translating data into clear recommendations
  • Provide analysis to explain trends, margin movements and key performance drivers
  • Partner with operational and sales teams to identify opportunities to enhance profitability
  • Standardise reporting and improve FP&A processes across the group
  • Support strategic decision-making at Board level through robust modelling and insight
About You
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) with strong FP&A or commercial finance experience
  • Proven ability to build and adapt financial models and present to senior non-finance stakeholders
  • Excellent Excel and data-modelling skills (macros not essential)
  • Commercially astute and curious, with a genuine interest in driving business performance
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong communicator who enjoys collaboration and influencing across teams
