Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Deburrer/Metal Worker for a busy foundry in St. Neots. This temp-to-perm role offers training and is suitable for practical, hands-on individuals.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with a salary of £14.00–£16.00 per hour. You will deburr, fettling and finish metal components while supporting general metalworking duties and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in foundry/manufacturing helps but is not essential.
• Practical hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Physically fit and able to handle reasonably heavy loads.
• Reliable and committed to working Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Deburring, fettling and finishing metal components.
• Carrying out general metalworking duties.
• Using a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Assisting with general foundry and production duties as required.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to meet production requirements.
• Wearing the appropriate PPE, which will be provided.
