🏗️ About the role

We are looking for a smart, high-agency recruiter/talent acquisition specialist to join our team and lead our recruitment process.

We have an exceptionally high bar for hiring; each new hire must lift the mean performance of the team in some way. However, our customer base is rapidly growing, and we need to hire on all fronts (engineering, GTM, and operations).

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Full recruitment cycle: Sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent across our whole organization.
  • Sourcing: Develop and execute innovative sourcing methods to identify high-potential, high-gradient candidates through various channels you discover.
  • Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified candidates, utilizing various channels such as social media, job boards, and industry networking events.
  • Collaboration: Work with our team to understand Solve’s hiring requirements and provide guidance and expertise to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Tracking: Build, analyze, and maintain recruitment metrics to track the effectiveness of recruitment activities, making data‑drive decisions to optimize and enhance our hiring processes. Operate at the frontier of AI through creative problem solving. Deploy and implement new workflows, tooling, and processes.

👋 Who you’ll work with

Sanj (Chief Research Officer and co‑founder): Sanj did his MSci in Physics at the University of Cambridge and his PhD in AI at the Gatsby Unit, UCL. He won awards at top AI conferences, worked on the R&D team at Huawei, and received widespread attention for his contributions to open‑source LLM GitHub projects. He joined Magic Carpet AI as employee #4, where he developed AI strategies for trading which deployed millions of capital before being acquired by Blockchain.com.

Chris (Chief Executive Officer and co‑founder): Chris did his undergrad at Imperial College, masters at the University of Cambridge, and PhD at UCL, during which he published 10+ publications and won awards in top AI conferences and journals. He has worked in leading tech organisations, including Dyson, The Alan Turing Institute, and InstaDeep before its acquisition by BioNTech.

Angus (Chief Technology Officer and co‑founder): Angus did an MEng in Computer Science at the University of Bristol where he won a cyber security scholarship at GCHQ before working at Qualcomm. He then joined a London‑based hedge fund, Coremont (Brevan Howard). There, he led a small team to build a greenfield trade processing platform which scaled to millions of trades per day.

You’ll also work with the rest of our super talented team of AI researchers, software engineers, patent attorneys, and go‑to‑market experts.

As our Founding Talent Acquisition Member, you will be a driven, ambitious, and high‑agency individual looking to have a big impact on the trajectory of a fast‑growing AI company’s team.

Must haves:

  • Proven track record hiring for top individual contributor talent (e.g. engineers, researchers, account executives, solutions engineers, customer success, operations, etc).
  • Proven experience in full life cycle recruiting with a strong background in sourcing (ability to identify target niche skill sets).
  • Expertise in sourcing techniques. You are proficient using a variety of sourcing tools including: LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, Boolean techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and a getting‑things‑done mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and AI usage.

Preferred haves:

  • Experience recruiting for a fast‑growing tech company.
  • Experience building and deploying AI‑based recruiting workflows.
