Job summary

Client Server Cambridge is seeking a Founding Software Engineer (Python) to help build a transformative AI startup. You will own core architecture, implement scalable cloud-native services, and drive both backend and frontend development, including CI/CD and Azure deployment.

You will work with Python and TypeScript, contribute to product decisions, and enjoy an entrepreneurial environment with equity and visible impact on the company’s growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or closely related field, 2:1 or higher.
• Strong programming experience with Python and REST APIs.
• Experience with TypeScript/React and web tech is beneficial.
• Exposure to LLMs and agentic AI, entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Lead full stack work from architecture to frontend, CI/CD, and deployment on Azure.
• Shape technical direction with the founding team and establish engineering practices.
• Collaborate closely with founders to deliver impactful products.
