Job summary

Clera is hiring a founding full-stack iOS engineer to own the companion iOS app from the ground up. This high-ownership role sits at the intersection of consumer hardware, real-time AI inference, and emotional intelligence.

You’ll translate AI outputs into intuitive interfaces, build real-time features, and guide the mobile codebase alongside a distributed team across time zones. Equity upside is offered as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift, shipping production apps.
• End-to-end ownership of mobile features from concept to release and maintenance.
• Strong full-stack capabilities including mobile app development and backend API integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the companion iOS app end-to-end — architecture, development, deployment, and iteration.
• Surface real-time emotional-state outputs from the AI inference model through intuitive interfaces.
• Build a polished consumer-grade mobile experience meeting high product and design standards.
• Integrate backend APIs covering authentication, data sync, and data models.
• Make autonomous technical decisions as a founding engineer and set mobile codebase standards.
• Collaborate across time zones with a distributed team.
