Job summary

Cross Border Talents in London seeks a Founding Engineer for Infrastructure & Platform to own backend services and cloud foundations. You will shape a secure, scalable platform used by enterprise customers, with autonomy from the founding team and close collaboration with leadership.

You will lead architecture and implementation across data models, APIs, and deployment pipelines, balancing rapid delivery with security, reliability, and compliance requirements in a seed-stage startup setting.

• Have no practical Infrastructure as Code or CI/CD experience
• Have only participated in compliance processes rather than designing and implementing controls
• Prefer highly specialized infrastructure work without broader product ownership
• Prefer large-company structures with narrowly defined responsibilities
• Are not comfortable working primarily on-site in London
