About Delfa

Billions of people still suffer from everyday diseases.

One key reason? Clinical trials are broken.

Despite $120 billion spent each year, most trials are delayed due to bottlenecks like patient recruitment.

Delfa is fixing this with autonomous AI agents. We're building AI agents to automate clinical trials, starting with patient recruitment.

Just three months in and already we’re:

• Live on 30+ trials across multiple conditions

• Mid-six-figure revenue and rising

• 300 % MoM product growth

• Oversubscribed $3.8 m seed from tier‑one AI investors

We're moving fast, and our biggest constraint is technical capacity. That's where you come in.

What You'll Do

You’ll build and scale the core systems that enable Delfa's AI agents to deliver real-world clinical impact. Below are some concrete projects you might tackle:

• Designing automated monitoring systems to ensure quality of tens of thousands of voice AI calls.

• Building browser agents to automate data extraction from legacy systems.

• Laying the foundations of our data infrastructure through the creation of robust pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and serving high-quality healthcare data.

• Creating internal AI tooling to empower your teammates to self‑serve and ship fast.

You’ll Be A Great Fit If…

• You have 3+ years of professional full‑stack engineering experience: We're looking for somebody comfortable with solving hard technical problems, refactoring when needed, and knowing what's enough and what's too much to solve a problem.

• A track record of building high‑quality products fast: Delfa's got big ambitions to materially accelerate getting life‑saving treatments to market. This is necessary and urgent work so we need individuals who can deliver.

• An ownership mindset: We position our team to understand customer problems, give you the autonomy to find the best path forward, and expect you to own the solutions.

• A growth mindset: We're looking for people who take pride in their work and are always looking to improve it. If your work doesn't matter to you, it won't end up mattering to our customers. If you're not growing, your impact won't grow either.

Our Hiring Process

We work to get you an offer within a week with the following lean process:

1. Intro chat with Tom (CEO) - 30 mins. An informal discussion about your experiences, values, and career goals, and give you an opportunity to get a sense of the role and the team. After this call we may ask you to share some work you’re proud of.
   

2. Technical discussion with Gustav (CTO) (45‑60mins). Here we will take a deeper dive into your technical depth to really understand what you’ve built, how you build and how you solve complex problems. We are looking out for examples of products you’ve shipped and the impact you’ve made. There will also be the chance for you to ask questions.
   

3. Technical challenge (90‑120 minutes). We’ll invite you to our office to spend some time with us. We’ll give you a real life task and ask you to work through it with us. It will be the best opportunity for you to truly see if this is the right role for you and also for us to get a great idea of how you would collaborate.
   

4. Offer. If all the above goes well then you’ll receive an offer from us!
