Job summary

Ark Start Priestthorpe in Yorkshire is recruiting Level 3 qualified Early Childhood Educators to join our founding team. You will care for key worker groups, implement the Ark Start curriculum, and foster a safe, engaging environment where children learn through play and outdoor activities.

You will collaborate with colleagues and parents, reflect on practice, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education and Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Awareness of safeguarding and welfare concerns and knowing how to act.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for a group of key worker children including observations, assessments and relationships with parents.
• Implement the Ark Start curriculum.
• Ensure high quality interactions with all children in nursery.
• Create an enabling environment where all children make good progress.
• Ensure nursery safety and safeguarding policy adherence.
• Keep child records up to date and report to parents and senior staff.
• Promote high nursery standards to parents, staff, and visitors in line with Ark Start code of conduct.
