Job summary

Genesis AI in Greater London seeks a senior researcher/engineer to advance foundation models for robotics. You will build end-to-end ML systems, curate diverse, large-scale datasets, and collaborate with simulation and real-world teams to ensure robust experiments.

You will push new ML ideas, maintain superb data and code quality, and share impactful work through publications or notable projects, contributing to ambitious embodied AI goals.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of full-stack foundation model research and engineering experience.
• Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
• Proven track record of pioneering ML ideas or refining methods; first-author publications or impactful projects.
• Data and code quality focused with rigorous evaluation.
• Production-level Python expertise.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end ML models for robotics control, including data curation and training.

Job description

What You'll Do

• Build machine learning models for robotics control end-to-end: data curation, careful evaluation, model architecture, training/inference stacks, rigorous experiments

• Collaborate with simulation and real-world robotics teams to curate high-quality, diverse, and large-scale datasets

• Curate the world’s best Internet-scale datasets for embodied perception and first-person robot video generation

• Design new generative simulation techniques to expand simulation data scale and diversity, training and evaluating generative models of 3D objects and environments, and language/code models to generate tasks and reward functions

• Collaborate with a team of driven individuals committed to building general-purpose Physical AI

• Extensive experience pioneering new machine learning ideas or refining existing methods, supported by first-author publications or impactful projects (5+ years)
