• Ability to work in partnership to identify needs within foster families.
• Experience in providing regular supervision to foster parents.

Responsibilities

• Support foster parents to achieve outcomes for children.
• Monitor the competence of foster parents.
• Attend meetings for care packages.
• Participate in out-of-hours support.

Skills

High standard of report writing

Knowledge of legislation and child safeguarding

Ability to travel extensively

Confidence in stressful situations

Full driving licence

Education

Social Work qualification

Professional registration with Social Work England
