Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in London or Amsterdam, with 3 days in office. You’ll push AI across the organization, working with internal teams and partners to turn learnings into durable improvements.

The role blends software engineering, AI fundamentals, and product-minded thinking to ship end-to-end production systems. You’ll prototype prompts, evaluate workflows, and present findings to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI applications, agents, or evaluation systems.
• Ability to reason clearly about model behaviour in complex workflows.
• Proven track record shipping production AI/workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand critical workflows with internal teams and partners to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Prototype and iterate prompts, agents, and workflow designs to understand system behaviour and extract value.
• Synthesize findings for Product Engineering and Platform teams into clear evaluations and artefacts.
• Build repeatable tools and evaluation approaches to raise quality across multiple use cases.
• Operate with judgment in ambiguous environments balancing quick fixes and long-term improvements.
• Build relationships as a trusted technical partner across engineering and product communities.
