At Bristol Myers Squibb , every formulation you design, every process you optimise, and every submission you support moves a real drug candidate one step closer to the people who need it most. This is science with a human story attached and we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of it.
You’re a scientist who doesn’t just follow protocols - you interrogate them. You askwhy, you experiment boldly, and you bring both rigour and creativity to the bench. You’re comfortable working independently, but you thrive when you’re part of a team that pushes each other to be better.
As a Formulation Scientist within our Oral Product Development group, you’ll be at the heart of turning BMS’s most promising small molecule drug candidates into real, manufacturable medicines - from first-in-human all the way through to commercial readiness.
Day to day, you’ll be designing and developing oral formulations, solving the complex challenges of bioavailability and stability, and working closely with colleagues across Drug Product, Analytical, API, Quality, and Regulatory functions — both at BMS sites and with external manufacturing partners (CMOs).
You won’t just be executing tasks. You’ll be contributing to strategy, shaping how drug products are developed and controlled, and leaving a visible mark on the projects you’re assigned to.
This isn’t just another scientist role. Here’s what joining BMS’s Drug Product Development team really means foryou:
If you’ve ever wanted your scientific expertise to matter - truly matter - beyond a set of results in a lab notebook, this is the role for you. At BMS, we believe the best people, working together with purpose, can change what’s possible for patients.
Come help us prove it.
