Job summary

The RPC Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse/ FLT Labourer just outside central Southampton. You will assist with picking materials, handling, loading and unloading goods, and supporting goods-in and goods-out operations while developing skills in warehouse management and mechanical tasks.

The role is full-time, temporary to permanent, offering shift pattern Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week, with hourly pay of £13.45 and overtime at time-and-a-half.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance or Reach licence required.
• Experience as a yard operative, labourer, or handling heavy products is essential.
• Must be physically fit for manual handling and outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment.
• Manually lift and carry items across yard and warehouse.
• Assist with shipping/receiving and maintain stock records.
• Operate forklift trucks safely following health and safety rules.
• Collaborate with team to optimise yard and manufacturing workflow.
