Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking a qualified Forklift Truck Driver to join a thriving warehouse team in Westhoughton. You will be responsible for operating forklifts, loading and unloading goods, and maintaining stock records. The ideal candidate will have a valid FLT license and proven experience in a warehouse environment. This role offers ongoing temporary employment with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT license (RTITB / ITSSAR accredited) for Counterbalance or Reach.
• Proven experience as a Forklift Driver in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of health and safety in the workplace.

Forklift Truck Driver
Location: Westhoughton
Hours: Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm
Contract: Temporary ongoing

Join a thriving, fast-paced warehouse and distribution team as a qualified FLT Driver! We are currently recruiting for a skilled Forklift Driver to work with one of our well-established clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable FLT Driver looking to secure long‑term work with excellent progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating forklifts (Counterbalance / Reach)
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles and containers
• Moving stock around the warehouse with precision and care
• Maintaining accurate stock records using handheld scanners
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required
• Following all site health & safety procedures as an FLT Driver
• Conducting daily checks and maintenance of the forklift

Requirements

• Valid FLT license (RTITB / ITSSAR accredited) – Counterbalance or Reach
• Proven experience as a Forklift Driver in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A strong understanding of health and safety in the workplace
• Flexible and willing to take on a range of tasks when required
• Good communication and teamwork skills
