Job description

Overview

Aspired talent are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver preferably with a Forklift Bendi licence to work for a national company on the day shift working 8am -5pm Monday to Thursday or 11am -8pm and Friday 9am -6pm. This is long-term work with the opportunity of securing a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• loading and unloading trailers, picking and replenishment of stock using Counterbalance/Bendi truck


• Driving and operating a Bendi Truck/Counterbalance safely and efficiently


• Conducting pre-use inspections and reporting any faults to management


• Receiving goods into the warehouse and stowing pallets


• Checking the quantity and visual quality of incoming and outgoing goods


• Unpacking and storing incoming goods


• Organising stock for deliveries


• Moving goods around the warehouse as required


• Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Candidates must have a minimum of 6 Months experience driving a Counterbalance FLT truck/Bendi truck


• Have own transport or be able to get to locations if needed


• Ideally be able to provide a previous work reference


• Have good communication skills


• Be a team player
