Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting Forklift Truck Drivers for a food manufacturing site in Bolton. We welcome candidates with Counterbalance or Reach licences, and outdoor yard work for Counterbalance roles or warehouse duties for Reach roles.

Shifts include days and nights; a valid forklift licence refreshed within the last 3 years is required. This is a temporary to permanent vacancy with a reputable employer and inclusive recruitment practices.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence refreshed within last 3 years is required.
• Experience in forklift driving and basic warehouse tasks preferred.
• Flexibility to perform additional duties in a food warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Approximately 50% of time will be spent on forklift driving; remaining duties include loading and unboxing.
• Counterbalance roles involve yard work and outdoor conditions; Reach roles involve warehouse work and adherence to food safety (clean shaved).

Job description

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for Forklift Truck Drivers to work for a food manufacturing company based in Bolton.

We have roles for both Counterbalance and Reach Drivers, so either licence will be accepted.

Only 50% of the work will be on the trucks, so candidates need to be prepared to do other tasks within the warehouse, such as loading and unboxing.

The Counterbalance roles will be working within a yard environment, so this will include some outdoor work.

The Reach roles will be working within the warehouse - Reach drivers need to be clean shaved as it's working around food.

We have the following shifts available:

• Sunday - Thursday 2pm-10pm
• Tuesday - Saturday 6am-2pm
• Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am
• Tuesday - Saturday 10pm-6am

The pay rate on days is £13.97 per hour

The pay rate on nights is £15.37 per hour

1 hour break deducted for lunch.

Candidates must have a valid license refreshed within the last 3 years.
