A leading logistics solutions provider in Dunstable is seeking an apprentice forklift engineer. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine on-the-job training with academic learning over a 3-year program. Candidates should have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in English, Maths and a Science/Engineering subject, as well as a keen interest in mechanics. The apprenticeship will include practical work experience, classroom learning, and mentorship to fully develop skills in servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and equipment.
Qualifications
Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to health, safety and customer site access requirements.
Interest in mechanics/engineering and practical hands-on approach to learning.
Responsibilities
Learning to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks.
Working as part of the service team and shadowing a mentor.
Participating in college and workplace learning.
