A leading logistics solutions provider in Dunstable is seeking an apprentice forklift engineer. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine on-the-job training with academic learning over a 3-year program. Candidates should have GCSE grades A-C or 4-9 in English, Maths and a Science/Engineering subject, as well as a keen interest in mechanics. The apprenticeship will include practical work experience, classroom learning, and mentorship to fully develop skills in servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and equipment.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be aged 18 or over due to health, safety and customer site access requirements.
• Interest in mechanics/engineering and practical hands-on approach to learning.

Responsibilities

• Learning to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks.
• Working as part of the service team and shadowing a mentor.
• Participating in college and workplace learning.
