Job summary

Pertemps North West and North Wales is seeking a number of FLT Operatives to join our team in Wigan on a temporary to permanent basis. The role requires operating forklift trucks, loading/unloading, and maintaining stock records while meeting safety and productivity targets.

Ideal candidates will have prior FLT experience, good attention to detail, and reliable, punctual work habits to support a stable, long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating an FLT truck.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow instructions and work to processes.
• Reliable, punctual and with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in line with H&S.
• Load and unload goods from vehicles and containers.
• Move, stack and store materials in warehouse locations.
• Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance of FLT equipment.
• Accurately pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Maintain stock records using warehouse systems.
• Ensure goods are handled to prevent damage and meet targets.
