Job summary

Senior Salmon Ltd is seeking a reliable and skilled FLT Driver to join our team. You will transport goods safely and efficiently, load and unload with forklifts, and maintain accurate records using our warehouse management system. The role requires basic math skills, strong mechanical knowledge, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Shift patterns include 8-hour days with morning and afternoon options (6-2pm / 2-10pm). We value reliability and teamwork in a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is an advantage.
• Basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment, including forklifts.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory using a warehouse management system.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform basic repairs on vehicles and equipment as necessary.
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring that all materials are accounted for and properly stored.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimise workflow and ensure efficient operations.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing duties, including heavy lifting when required.
