Job summary

JRL Group is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for its Newark area facility. The role involves general warehouse duties including picking, packing, labeling, palletising and loading/unloading containers. You will work with a focus on quality and safety within a fast-paced environment.

Counterbalance FLT licence is required. Full training will be provided and the position is a permanent PAYE role paid weekly at the Newark, NG23 site.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse/store experience.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Counterbalance FLT licence is required.

Responsibilities

  • General warehouse duties: picking, packing, labeling, palletising and loading/unloading containers.
  • Quality inspection and maintaining clean, tidy warehouse areas.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 quality procedures and company policies.
  • Work with supervisors on any other duties as needed.
  • Maintain safety and report issues promptly.

Job description

State of the art manufacturing facility based near Newark and conveniently located adjacent to A1.

JRL Group's East Midlands offsite manufacturing facilities, conveniently located adjacent to the A1 in Carlton on Trent, between Retford and Newark.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm (Paid till 4pm)

This is a Permanent PAYE position, payed weekly based at JRL Modular factory in Newark, NG23.

DUTIES
  • General warehouse duties to include:
  • Picking
  • Quality inspecting
  • Stacking
  • Labelling
  • Working in warehouse, loading and unloading containers, pallets, modules or vehicle, manual handling training will be given
  • Palletising
  • General warehouse duties
  • Ensure warehouse areas are kept clear and tidy, at all times
  • General housekeeping, ensuring all aisles and fire door areas are continually monitored for build up of debris
  • Remove all rubbish to appropriate skips/areas
  • Work within our ISO 9001 quality procedures
  • Any other duties required by supervisors
  • Counterbalance FLT licence required

Full training will be provided.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, well organised, computer literate, willing to learn our systems
  • Previous stores/warehouse experience
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
