Interaction Technical is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service forklifts across Grantham and the surrounding area, performing maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites.

The role offers a base salary of £37,000–£42,000 with overtime opportunities and a clear career path. Benefits include a company van, fuel card, paid door-to-door travel, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and a company pension.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Good hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• Experience working on engines and mobile machinery.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks.
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out repairs.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Recording work via engineer reports.
