Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift Engineer to join their team, covering the North West region. This hands‑on role involves providing expert maintenance and repair services for a wide range of material‑handling equipment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring customers’ operations run smoothly with safe, reliable, and efficient machinery.

Job Overview
  • Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of various forklift trucks and material‑handling equipment
  • Work both independently and as part of a supportive team to uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency
  • Split between workshop and field‑based duties, supporting a diverse customer base across multiple industries
Role Requirements
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing forklifts or similar material‑handling equipment
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
Salary & Benefits

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 8:00‑16:30, Friday 8:00‑15:30
