Job summary

Workforce Unlimited - Boston in King's Lynn is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Operative for an ongoing temporary role with rotating shifts, 6.00am–2.00pm and 2.00pm–10.00pm, Monday to Friday. Training will start on day shift with the Shift Leader.

You'll load and unload lorries, move packs around the site, use SAP to scan packs, tablets and scanners for goods movement, and assist with stock takes and port cargo offloading.

Qualifications

• Forklift driving experience required.
• Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Confident using tablets, scanners and computer systems.

FORKLIFT DRIVER / LABOURER – KING'S LYNN

Location: King's Lynn

Ongoing Temporary Position

Rotating Shifts: Monday to Friday

6.00am–2.00pm / 2.00pm–10.00pm

Early finish on Fridays!

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver / Operative to join a busy and well-established company based in King's Lynn.

This is an ongoing temporary position offering a varied role working both on the forklift and supporting general site operations.

Main Duties Will Include

• Loading and unloading lorries
• Moving packs around the site to various locations
• Using the SAP computer system to scan packs
• Using tablets and scanners as part of the goods movement process
• Following paperwork and completing relevant checklists
• Assisting with stock takes
• Supporting with the offloading of cargo from the port
• General labouring duties, including some heavy lifting

The successful candidate will initially work on a day shift alongside the Shift Leader for training during the first few weeks.

What We're Looking For

• Previous forklift driving experience
• Comfortable with manual handling and some heavy lifting
• Confident using tablets, scanners and computer systems
• Able to follow paperwork and procedures accurately
• Experience within the timber industry would be a significant advantage
• Experience moving long-length packs would also be beneficial

The successful candidate will be required to complete in-house forklift refresher training prior to starting, with the possibility of receiving side-loader licence training.
