Job summary

Bristol, United Kingdom — AWI Civitas is seeking a Forklift Driver to safely move, load, unload and stage materials across the warehouse and production facilities. You will operate counterbalance, reach trucks and electric pallet jacks with attention to safety and inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities include pre-operation inspections, transporting items between receiving, storage, lines and shipping docks, and stacking pallets to spec. Multiple shift options available.

Qualifications

• Active Forklift Certification (OSHA-compliant).
• 1–2 years experience operating powered industrial trucks in a fast-paced environment.
• Temp-to-Perm pathway based on attendance, safety and performance.
• Shift patterns: morning, afternoon, or overnight set shifts.

The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, loading, unloading, and staging of materials, goods, and palletized products throughout the warehouse and production facilities. This role requires maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, performing pre-operation equipment inspections, and keeping accurate inventory tracking records.

Operate various industrial lift trucks safely and efficiently (e. g., counterbalance, reach trucks, order pickers, or electric pallet jacks) across designated warehouse aisles, loading bays, and storage racks.

Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from flatbeds, box trucks, and shipping containers.

Transport raw materials, packaging, and finished goods between receiving, storage racks, assembly lines, and shipping docks.

Stack, organize, and store pallets at heights, observing weight capacity limits and stability requirements.

Requirements

• Certification: Active Forklift Certification (OSHA-compliant, counterbalance/sit-down and/or reach truck).


• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.


• Temp-to-Perm Pathway: Opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time warehouse operative or operator role based on attendance, safety, and performance.
