• Load and unload vehicles while ensuring care of goods.
• Check stock locations and quantities against documentation.
• Conduct daily pre-use safety checks of the VNA truck.
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties.

Job description

As a Warehouse Operative, you will:

• Operate a VNA or Reach forklift truck safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Pick, move, and store pallets of goods within narrow aisle racking systems.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Check and verify stock locations and quantities against documentation (e.g., pick lists, delivery notes).
• Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual tracking.
• Conduct daily pre-use safety checks of the VNA truck and report any faults or issues immediately.
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse duties as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and hazard-free.
