Forklift Driver

Location: Pallet Networks, Shepton Mallet

Shift: Monday to Friday, 12pm starts.

Job Description: We are looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for loading and unloading palletised goods from a variety of vehicles, ensure the upkeep of the warehouse is met and complete relevant paperwork ensure processes and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Using a Counterbalance to load and unload palletised goods from trailers, rigid vehicles and vans.
  • Using the warehouse system & scanner to receive, locate goods into the racking, pick & dispatch whilst handling all goods with care and attention.
  • Replenishing and consolidation of stock when required.
  • General housekeeping and upkeep of the warehousing area and equipment.
  • Completing any relevant paperwork in line with the warehouse processes to include reporting any defects.
Required Experience
  • A current Counterbalance forklift license is essential.
  • Previous experience of working within the pallet network industry.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Solution-driven and flexible approach to work.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
