Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Driver.

Assist Resourcing is currently recruiting for FLT Drivers in Droitwich to work for our client who is a plastic injection moulder, who has been in the business of plastic injection moulding for over 50 years.

You must have previous experience in this type of role, and hold a current and valid FLT Licence, and you will be joining a family-owned business, that take pride in having a friendly and helpful team in place.

The Role
  • Ensure that all production machines are provided with packaging and materials as per the Bill of Material/Route Card.
  • Ensure that finished products are removed from the machines after audit for banding/wrapping before being scanned into storage.
  • Assist in maintaining housekeeping requirements by only supplying the minimum amount of packaging necessary to keep machines running.
  • Carry out tasks in line with the Health and Safety requirements (Safe Systems at Work).
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in line with the Company’s cleaning schedule.
  • Removal of scrap from the machines, identifying it correctly, weighing and stacking in a safe and orderly way for collection.
  • Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded as and when required.
  • Ensure pallets are stored safely in designated area.
  • Other general duties as instructed by Warehouse and Logistics Team Leader.
Hours of Work
  • Monday to Friday
  • Monday to Thursday - 14:00 – 22:15
  • Friday - 11:00 – 16:00
