Job summary

Pertemps Plymouth is recruiting a Forklift Driver for a busy site in Estover, Plymouth. The role involves supporting production and warehouse operations, moving materials safely and efficiently.

You will operate Counterbalance and Reach Trucks, load/unload vehicles, and maintain health and safety standards. Night shifts 22:00–06:00, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence.
• Experience operating forklift trucks in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work permanent night shifts.
• Strong health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Move stock, raw materials and finished goods around the site.
• Supply production lines with materials as required.
• Complete routine equipment checks.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Support warehouse and production teams to meet operational targets.

£17.89 per hour

Monday to Friday | 10:00pm - 6:00am

We are currently recruiting for Forklift Drivers to join a globally recognised confectionery manufacturer at their state-of-the-art facility in Estover, Plymouth.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you'll play an important role in supporting production and warehouse operations, ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Trucks safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock, raw materials, and finished goods around the site
• Supplying production lines with materials as required
• Storing stock accurately within warehouse locations
• Completing routine equipment checks
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting warehouse and production teams to meet operational targets

This is a hands‑on role within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, requiring a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

About You

We're looking for individuals who are:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Comfortable working permanent night shifts
• Hold a valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
• Experienced operating forklift trucks within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
• Committed to maintaining high health and safety standards
• Keen to contribute to a busy and successful operation

Please note: Due to the location of the site and shift start/finish times, own transport is essential.
