Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for a long-term opportunity in Alloa, Scotland. Connect Appointments is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our growing client in the Alloa area. This is a long‑term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Pay rate: £12.95 to £14.77 per hour

Schedule: 4 days on, 4 days off; 6am to 6pm/6pm to 6am

Your duties as a Forklift Driver:

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles efficiently and safely
• Transport and store materials throughout the warehouse in the correct locations
• Operate the forklift safely in a fast‑paced, busy environment
• Maintain clear and hazard‑free forklift operating areas
• Consolidate partial pallets to optimise storage for incoming deliveries

What we're looking for:

• Valid FLT licence - Counterbalance
• Previous forklift driving experience in a warehouse, logistics, production, or manufacturing environment ideally with glass.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting while maintaining safety and accuracy
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable working as part of a team and following instructions
• Access to your own transport would be advantageous
