Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an experienced forklift driver with counterbalance license to join a busy drinks production facility in Devon. This temporary role offers an immediate start and involves moving materials, stocking, and supporting production lines.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, with benefits including parking, canteen, and regular pay. Potential for permanent positions after a successful trial period.

Qualifications

• A valid forklift licence is essential.
• Experience operating forklift trucks is required.
• Experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate counterbalance forklift trucks.
• Aisle master experience is desirable but not essential.
• Load, unload, move and store products within the warehouse and production areas.
• Supply production lines with materials as required.
• Accurately pick, stage and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Carry out stock movements and maintain inventory records.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report faults or maintenance issues.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.

Our client- a well established local production company are looking for a forklift driver with counterbalance. This role has an immediate start for the right candidate. Based in Buckfastleigh.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Temporary Forklift to join our busy drinks production facility in the heart of Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the efficient movement and storage of raw materials and finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate both counterbalance forklift trucks.
• Aisle master experience preferred but NOT essential.
• Load, unload, move and store products within the warehouse and production areas.
• Supply production lines with materials as required.
• Accurately pick, stage and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Carry out stock movements and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Complete daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.

Essential Requirements

• A valid forklift licence is essential.
• Previous experience operating both forklift trucks.
• Aisle master experience desirable but not essential.
• Experience working within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to working safely.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay Rates:

• £13.10 p/h

Shift Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 08:00am- 16:30pm
