Job description

Muddy boots. Crackling campfires. Big adventures in the great outdoors.

Our Forest School is where curiosity comes alive, where children climb, explore, imagine and discover who they are. We’re looking for a Forest School Teacher who believes that learning doesn’t just happen indoors… it starts with the wind in your hair and the mud between your fingers.

This isn’t just a job. It’s a chance to shape confident, resilient learners by giving them the freedom, challenge and wonder that only nature can offer.

What you’ll be doing
Leading Inspiring Outdoor Sessions

You’ll guide children through unforgettable outdoor adventures, from tool use and fire lighting to storytelling, den‑building and nature exploration. You will help them take safe risks, problem‑solve and experience the world in real, hands‑on ways.

Bringing Forest School to Life

You will weave our curriculum into every log pile, leaf pile and muddy puddle. Each session becomes a learning journey, where the children lead the way and you create the magic.

Coaching & Supporting Staff Outdoors

You’ll empower practitioners to grow their confidence outdoors, modelling great interactions, nurturing reflective practice and helping others see the richness and potential of forest school.

Building Connections with Children & Families

You’ll develop strong, meaningful relationships, helping children flourish emotionally, socially and physically in the forest environment.

Who we’re looking for

Someone who:

  • ✔Comes alive outdoors – whatever the weather
  • ✔Brings creativity, warmth and calm leadership
  • ✔Loves supporting others and sharing their expertise
  • ✔Sees challenge as opportunity and mud as magic
  • ✔Believes childhood should be adventurous, exciting and full of wonder
Why you will love working with us

We’re a team that plays big, laughs loud and supports each other fiercely. Whether you’ve been here two months or two decades, you’ll feel part of something special, a place where every idea is welcome, and every day brings something new.

Out here, no two sessions are the same. No two children are the same. And that’s exactly why we love it.

Ready to lead the adventure?

We’d love to meet you.
