Job summary

Eurofins Uk Forensic Services is seeking a Forensic Examiner to join the Toxicology team at Heathrow. You will perform routine laboratory analyses, maintain equipment and records, and support casework analysis under SOPs and safety rules.

The role requires a Chemistry degree or equivalent, solid communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Vetting includes NPPV3 + SC; 5 years UK residency is required.

Qualifications

• Chemistry degree or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good planning and organisational ability.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team.
• Experience in Forensic Toxicology and instrumentation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Maintain laboratory area with strict contamination controls.
• Prepare and validate quality control material; maintain records.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment; manage consumables.
• Follow SOPs and health and safety requirements; ensure chain of custody.
• Prepare casework samples for analysis and input data into the case management system.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the Toxicology team.
